Otamatone “Deluxe” [English Edition] Electronic Musical Instrument

2

Designed by CUBE Toy company in Japan, Otamatone is one of the most unique (and yet adorable!) designs for a musical instrument to date, by the artists Masamichi and Nobumichi Tosa of Maywa Denki. Inspired by the enigmatic, uninhibited, and sometimes unpredictable nature of the voice of the players, Tosa Brothers have created Otamatone, one of several other items in their series of “Nonsense Machines.” Joining a laughing machine, one which bell like a puppy, and other stupid, fantastic yet ultimately practical and fascinating comparisons.

The Otamatone is a nice dumb sound and music discovery.

This lovable, smiley eighth-note features all this sweet, pleasant and cleverly imaginative appeal that you would expect from the hit Japanese playground, now a precious toy that is both loved in Japan and abroad. It blends it with shockingly sophisticated functions that reminisce of a violin or a rather darkening theater to make people of toy everywhere just unable to put down!
